"I’ve been a long-time State Farm customer and had great experiences with other agents in the past—especially the downtown Middletown office. Unfortunately, my experience with this agency has been frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. I called to cancel my auto policy and was told by Steve that I needed to send over the Declaration Page from my new insurer before they could cancel. I did as requested. I followed up with Michael to confirm it was received, but never got a clear answer. After waiting four hours, I called State Farm directly, and they canceled my policy immediately—no declaration page required. On top of that, when I first received my quote from this office, it included information for a completely unrelated household member I never gave them. That’s a serious mistake, and luckily I caught it before proceeding. I went with this agency because of the positive reviews, but after interacting with three different reps, I can confidently say I won’t be coming back. I’ll also be sharing my feedback directly with State Farm corporate. Just a heads-up to others—be prepared for unnecessary runaround and inconsistent service."
